Answer: Heel to toe drop is the difference between the heel height and forefoot height of the shoe. -

Are these breathable and keep feet cool in summer?
Answer: Yes but these are not as good of a shoe as the Detroit waterproof leather boot. I had to go back to them after 5 months because I had difficulty walking in the Lansing boots. -
