Alta Labs Routers Route10 Editorial Review
The Route10 High-Performance Qualcomm Quad-Core Hardware-Accelerated 10 Gbps VPN Router from Alta Labs has received overwhelmingly positive feedback from customers, who appreciate its blend of extensive capabilities and competitive pricing. Many users express their satisfaction with the router's performance, particularly highlighting its 10 Gbps speeds, support for multiple VLANs and Multi-WAN functionality, which makes it suitable for both home and small business environments. Reviewers frequently mention how easy the setup process is, especially with the cloud-based configuration method, which allows even those with basic tech knowledge to configure advanced settings like DHCP pools and port forwarding. The router’s reliability has been praised, with users reporting smooth operation across various activities such as gaming, streaming, and managing smart devices. The strong commitment to customer support has also impressed users. Alta Labs is recognized for its proactive approach to addressing issues, including personal involvement from leadership, which has reinforced customer trust. Even those who experienced initial frustrations with the product or its support system report a renewal of confidence in the brand due to their responsiveness and ongoing improvements. However, some users noted a slight learning curve due to the documentation's shortcomings and the cloud-based management system not fitting the preferences of more advanced users seeking traditional command line access. Overall, the Route10 stands out as an excellent choice for those needing a high-performance router at an attractive price point, balancing speed, functionality, and ease of use. **
