What is the long strap for that came in the box?
Answer: Replacement for friction belt but not needed to date. -

Is it waterproof, could you use it under water?
Answer: Not waterproof. -

How do you attach the pedals?
Answer: You just hand screw them into mini pedal arms, one screws in anti clockwise and the other clockwise. Check booklet to ensure right direction to screw pedal on if its not attaching properly. -

How do I reset the numbers on the monitor?
Answer: There is a book to help you, also I think you press the red button. -

Can this be used standing up?
Answer: Haven't tried standing up but could put too much pressure on the pedals. Meant to be used in a seated position. -

How noisy is this? I want to take it to the office but a bit scared it will generate too much noise. Any videos with sound would be appreciated.

Answer: No idea, I'm only 5'4''. And I use it whilst sitting on settee watching tv.
