This CGM approved gel is a great product that works well for 2c/3a hair, 4a-c spectrum, and 3b/3c hair. The gel leaves no crunchy hair when it dries and is effective for kinky, long, black (African) hair. It does have a slight scent but it's not overpowering. However, if you use too much product, it can leave some build-up on your hair. For dreadlocks, this product is not suitable for locking hair but recommends to try heavy cream twisting or products that contain wax. Overall, good quality product with excellent curl definition and slip, but may have different results depending on one's hair type.
