Answer: Royal Canin RS 26 is the normal renal food and royal canin RS 24 is called renal select it's more like dreamies biscuits, it's supposed to be more appealing for the CRF cats with no appetite. -

What is the difference between renal special and renal select?
Answer: It's just a different flavour. But it is a useful alternative variety. My cat is diabetic and I also use Royal Canin 'light' RC 'digestive' and Purina 'Pro Plan diabetes management'. -
Question:
Why does it say maine coon recommendation? Is it for other breeds as well?!
Answer: Yes, it is. My run of the mill moggy had it when his kidneys were playing up.
