- Both corundum whetstones can be used without water and can be cleaned by rubbing them gently in circles against each other, or with sandpaper or an eraser.
- The ultimate edge is achieved through a final strop with the HORL leather after using the whetstones.
- The service life of the corundum whetstones depends on use, with the extra-fine whetstone wearing off faster than the fine grit one. It is recommended to sharpen the knife on both sides with the standard diamond and the ceramic honing disc before using the whetstones.
- The grinding order with the Premium Sharpening Package is to start with the HORL diamond, followed by the fine stone, extra-fine stone, and finally the HORL leather for the best results.
