SEM Primer Editorial Review
Black Self Etching Primer 15.5 oz. (6/Pack) offers professional-grade performance, perfect for ensuring strong adhesion on bare metal surfaces. Users praise its quick-drying formula, which allows for speedy projects without compromising quality. It is formulated specifically for exterior use, providing excellent coverage of 20-24 square feet per coat. However, caution is advised in its application, as a light initial coat is recommended to prevent issues with adhesion. While this product does an exceptional job at gripping metal, it lacks UV protection, and a topcoat is essential to maintain its finish over time. Overall, it stands out as a reliable choice for serious DIYers and professionals alike.
