Nutritionist's Take
The On Call Stealth Adjustable Lancing Device is primarily a medical tool for blood glucose monitoring rather than a nutritional product. However, nutritionists appreciate its design with 11 depth settings, allowing users to adjust lancing for different skin types, which can enhance comfort and compliance for individuals managing diabetes. This device’s precision can promote better management of blood sugar levels, supporting overall nutritional health for diabetics by facilitating consistent monitoring. One potential drawback is that improper usage might lead to discomfort or bruising, affecting the user's willingness to check their blood sugar frequently. Overall, while it does not directly offer nutritional benefits or ingredients, it plays a supportive role in empowering individuals to maintain a healthy diet by keeping blood glucose levels in check.
On Call Lancets Editorial Review
The On Call Stealth Adjustable Lancing Device has received mixed reviews from customers. While some users have found it to be a useful and cost-effective product, others have had issues with its functionality and durability. One reviewer mentioned that they were pleased with the product, while another expressed disappointment in comparison to a previous similar device they had used. They noted difficulties in adjusting the lancet depth and mentioned that the top cover had broken, affecting the control of the lancet depth. Another customer found that the device did not work well on their arm and did not penetrate effectively, despite having 11 depth settings. They also mentioned that they had to use a higher depth setting to get enough blood, resulting in more pain. On the positive side, some users found the device useful for testing their blood sugar levels. One user even used it on their young child and found it to be effective in checking blood sugar levels. In conclusion, the On Call Stealth Adjustable Lancing Device has its strengths and weaknesses. While it may work well for some users in testing blood sugar levels, others have experienced issues with its performance and durability. **
