What devices is the adapter compatible with?
Answer: It works with USB C devices with DP Alt mode like Apple MacBook, MacBook Pro, iMac, Mac Mini, Dell Precision and Dell XPS and many more. -

How many HDMI displays can be connected?
Answer: Two HDMI 2.0 4K@60Hz displays can be connected to the adapter. -

Can it be used for multiple independent displays?
Answer: On Windows 10, 8 and 7, up to 3 independent displays can be configured. -
Question:
Will this splitter actually create two independent displays or just one display over multiple monitors?
Answer: Yes. It worked exceptionally well for me with a new Dell Latitude 7480 laptop. I connected a Samsung 24” and Dell 20”. It set itself up (plug & play) for 3 monitors. It included the laptop screen. It did not have to right-click on the screen to choose “resolution” in order to set up the monitor displays. For reference, it set up each of the 3 monitors the same way for Multiple Displays: “extend desktop to this display”, and I can work on separate programs on each monitor at the same time. -
Question:
Can this run a 2k monitor at 60hz and a 4k TV at 30hz simultaneously?
Answer: I have only tried connections to two external monitors in Full HD resolution. I also tried with a 4K TV at 60Hz with no problem. Unlike other similar products, big advantage of UPTab helps you manage 3 independent videos including your laptop monitor at the same time. Other products only produce mirrored same videos. -

Given that the device will support dual 4k displays at 30hz, will it also support dual 1080p (fhd) displays at 60hz?
Answer: Yes, it supports 2x 1080@60hz. -

Answer: Hello, this product does not use DisplayLink technology, it is using DisplayPort\HDMI Alternate Mode over USB-C. -

Will this work with a Lenovo Thinkpad?
Answer: Yes, it is compatible with Lenovo Thinkpad. -

Does this device need a power source to operate?
Answer: The device itself does not need power to connect the other devices. Those of course would need to be appropriately powered on. -

Hi, I understand that for macs I will get two mirrored displays but will it charge my MacBook while connected? Thanks
Answer: Unfortunately, this adapter does not have a Power Delivery port. Only our 6 in 1 and 7 in 1 Hubs and USB-C to Mini DisplayPort adapter have power delivery port.

The USB C to Dual HDMI 4K Adapter Multi Monitor Splitter is compatible with a range of laptops and allows for up to 3 independent videos at the same time. It is easy to set up and does not require a power source. However, some customers have experienced issues with the male side of the adapter being insecure, causing the screen to turn on and off with any movement of the laptop.
