How do I apply and use the COSRX Master Patch?

To use COSRX Master Patch Intensive, start by cleansing and drying the affected area. Then, select a patch that is slightly larger than the pimple and place it directly over the blemish, pressing gently to ensure it adheres well. Leave it on for several hours or overnight for best results. The patch works by absorbing impurities, and you'll notice it turns white as it draws out the contents of the pimple.

Are these patches suitable for all skin types?

Yes, COSRX Master Patch Intensive is designed to be suitable for various skin types, including sensitive skin. The patches are made from hypoallergenic materials and do not contain harsh ingredients that could irritate the skin. However, it's always best to perform a patch test on a small area before applying it to a large blemish, especially if you have highly reactive skin.

How many patches are included in a box?

Each box of COSRX Master Patch Intensive contains 36 oval-shaped patches. This count offers a sufficient quantity for regular use, allowing you to tackle multiple blemishes as they appear. These patches are particularly handy for emergencies, having enough supply to manage breakouts effectively over time.

Can I use the patches on newly formed pimples?

Absolutely! COSRX Master Patch Intensive works best on whiteheads and inflamed pimples. They can also be effective on newly formed pimples, as the patches help to protect the area from bacteria and prevent the urge to pick at them. Applying a patch early can help accelerate the healing process and minimize the breakout.

How long should I leave the patch on?

For optimal results, it is recommended to leave the COSRX Master Patch on for at least 6 hours. Many users prefer using it overnight, as this allows the patch to work continuously while you sleep, effectively reducing the size and redness of the pimple by morning. Adjust the time based on your comfort and how quickly you wish to see results.

Can I wear makeup over the pimple patch?

It's best to avoid applying makeup directly over the COSRX Master Patch to ensure it stays adhered to the skin and functions effectively. However, if you need to cover the area, you can apply concealer gently over the edges of the patch while trying not to disturb its placement. This allows you to disguise the patch while still benefiting from its healing properties.

Will the patches prevent future breakouts?

While COSRX Master Patches are specifically designed to treat existing pimples, they do not prevent future breakouts on their own. For best results, combine their use with a consistent skincare routine that includes cleansing, exfoliating, and moisturizing. Incorporating acne-fighting ingredients into your regimen can help reduce the likelihood of future blemishes.

Can I reuse the patches?

No, COSRX Master Patch Intensive is designed for single use only. Once a patch has absorbed impurities and changed color, it indicates that it has reached its capacity and should be disposed of. Reusing can compromise hygiene and efficacy, which is why it’s recommended to apply a fresh patch as needed.
