Lokar Accelerator Cables Editorial Review
The Lokar TC-1000U36 36 Universal Throttle Cable has garnered generally positive feedback from customers who have used it in various automotive projects, particularly in custom builds like street rods and classic vehicles. Many users praise its ease of installation and commend its performance, often noting that it offers a smooth operation with minimal resistance. The sentiment of buying American-made products is echoed by several customers who believe the quality of the Lokar throttle cable is superior to cheaper, imported alternatives. Users appreciate the well-Constructed cable assembly, highlighting its adequate diameter for responsiveness and reliability in performance. However, some caution is advised regarding how the cable can unravel when cut, signaling the need for careful handling during installation. A few critiques have been noted, particularly regarding the aluminum fittings, with suggestions for a stronger steel alloy instead. Additionally, there are compatibility issues mentioned; specifically, one customer found that it did not fit a 6.0L GM LS-based throttle body, which might be a Consideration for potential buyers depending on their vehicle specifications. Overall, the Lokar TC-1000U36 presents itself as a reliable choice for those looking to enhance their vehicle's throttle response, particularly for those prioritizing American manufacturing and quality craftsmanship. **
