Selle Italia Saddles SI479210 Editorial Review
The Selle Italia SLR TM Superflow has garnered a favorable reception among cycling enthusiasts, noted for its impressive comfort during long rides. Many users have reported that the saddle is particularly effective at relieving pressure thanks to its well-designed cut-out, while also allowing for versatile movement during various riding positions. Cyclists appreciate the balance between firmness and comfort, with several riders indicating that it is initially firm but becomes more comfortable over time. Notably, a significant number of reviews highlight the saddle's lightweight Construction due to the manganese rails and minimal padding. This design choice is appealing to those who favor a firmer seat that adapts to their anatomy rather than a heavily cushioned experience, which can often lead to discomfort. However, some users caution potential buyers that the saddle’s minimal padding can lead to a firmer ride, which might not be ideal for everyone. In terms of aesthetics, opinions are mixed—while the saddle's performance is praised, some users express annoyance at a plastic insert that not only appears unattractive but also produces noise. However, complaints about this seem to be outweighed by the benefits of the saddle's comfort. Overall, the Selle Italia SLR TM Superflow is recommended for cyclists looking for a competitive saddle that excels in comfort and pressure relief for long-distance riding, though riders are advised to Consider their individual preferences for firmness. **
