Dinan Hard Parts Editorial Review
Dinan D550-1005 Billet Short-Shifter Kit - Compatible with 2004-2013 BMW 135i/325i/328i/330i/335i/530i/545i/550i is a fantastic upgrade for driving enthusiasts seeking to enhance their shifting experience. Users have reported a noticeable reduction in shift throw by 20-25%, resulting in tighter and more engaging shifts. While installation has its challenges, such as the need to reuse specific components, the overall ease of installation is appreciated by many. However, some have noted minor rattling and noises during operation, particularly in lower RPMs, which could be perceived as a slight annoyance. Regardless, the overwhelmingly positive feedback indicates that many find it a worthwhile enhancement to their BMW.
