  • Question: Is this product genuine? Seems to be very cheap?

    Answer: I bought this and it is genuine - great coffee maker too!
  • Question: Where is it made?

    Answer: Denmark, I believe.
  • Question: How does the leak proof lid work?

    Answer: Standard bodum cafetere with push down press top. It doesn't leak or drip when pouring. Cleaning is easy.
  • Question: Are these still made in Switzerland? Or China?

    Answer: Look up the Bodum company on the internet. It states the company originated in Denmark and has since moved, in 1978, to Switzerland.
  • Question: Is this the double glass version?

    Answer: I haven't seen the other version as this is my first proper coffee maker, but I can say it's worth the money and I got 2-3 servings in a tall glass.
  • Question: Would you say its white colour is actually an off-white or ivory tone? Thanks.

    Answer: Off white or cream - definitely not pristine white.
  • Question: The holes in the filter look quite large - does this mean only coarse ground coffee should be used?

    Answer: The mesh filter is quite good, I use ground coffee straight off the shelf from Tesco and it's fine.
