The built-in resistor pack in each harness mimics the characteristics of a standard halogen bulb, tricking the car's system into thinking nothing has changed.
This means you can enjoy a seamless headlight upgrade without any error messages or flickering lights. With Japanese-made Rubycon 6800uF capacitors, these harnesses provide the power needed to jump-start the ballasts and keep them running smoothly. They utilize the power directly from your vehicle's factory headlight circuit, ensuring reliable and consistent performance.
While Morimoto developed these harnesses with the VW and Euro market in mind, they can be used with any 35W-50W HID ballast and fit H4 style inputs. However, please note that they are not compatible with Mopar (Ram Trucks, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep) vehicles. For those vehicles, Morimoto offers specialized harnesses designed specifically for Mopar vehicles. Not only are these standalone harnesses effective, but they are also incredibly simple to set up.
