Answer: The heater draws 8.3 amps when wired at 120 volts and 4.1 amps at 240 volts. -

Answer: No, this model cannot be mounted in the ceiling. The only Cadet model that can be mounted in the ceiling is the CS and it has to be 1500 watts or less and cannot have the built-in thermostat. -

Can I use this with an external thermostat to control the temperature all day long?
Answer: The thermostat is on the unit to control the heat all day. If you want to use an external thermostat, you will need to rewire the unit. -

Answer: Yes, it can be installed on an exterior wall, but you would have to cut a small piece of insulation from inside the wall. -

Does the heater turn off completely when the time elapses on the timer or does the thermostat kick in when a certain low temperature is reached?
Answer: With the Com-Pak Bath heater, you set the thermostat to the constant temperature you want to maintain. When you use the timer function, the heater will run at full power for a quick heat up for the allotted time. After that, the thermostat controls it to the set temperature.
