About This Item
Introducing the Aiphone LEF-5C Open Voice Selective Call Master Intercom, the perfect solution for seamless communication within your building. Whether you need to communicate with visitors at your door or connect with other rooms, this intercom system provides reliable and clear audio communication. With the ability to connect up to five Aiphone LAF and LEF Series master intercoms or LA, LE, and LS Series door and sub-master intercoms (sold separately), you can customize your system to suit your specific needs. The all-call button, when used with an Aiphone BG-10C adapter (sold separately), allows you to broadcast messages or music to every intercom in the system. For added convenience and security, each intercom must be connected to an Aiphone RY-PA relay (sold separately), which can control an electric strike for door access control.
You can also connect other devices such as CCTV cameras and lights (sold separately) to enhance security and monitoring capabilities. The master intercom features five buttons with LED indicators, allowing you to easily direct calls and communicate with the desired door or sub-master intercom. Calls from sub-master intercoms are indicated by a momentary chime and corresponding LED indicator. By depressing the push-to-talk button, you can communicate with the specified door or sub-master intercom user.
Releasing the button transmits sound from the door or sub-master intercom to the master intercom. Privacy is also a priority with the privacy button, which prevents other intercom users from overhearing your conversation. You can also listen to audio transmissions from a specified door or sub-master intercom at any time. The chime and audio volume are adjustable, and you can easily silence the chime alerts by switching the power button to the off position. Designed with convenience in mind, the intercom's semi-flush mount housing in white plastic seamlessly blends with any decor.
The included mounting hardware makes installation a breeze. Please note that a 12V power supply (sold separately) is required to power the system.
