Ratech Radio Wiring Harnesses Editorial Review
The 10005 Pinion Setting Tool by Ratech has garnered mixed reviews from users who appreciate its cost-effectiveness but have noted challenges in achieving precision. Many users find it a valuable alternative to more expensive options, with one user stating it is "much much better than nothing" for setting pinion depth. Those who have experience in the field seem to adapt well to the tool's requirements, managing to gauge pinion depth accurately with practice. However, some reviews highlight the difficulty in obtaining precise measurements, with one user reporting a significant mismatch between the tool’s reading and the shim needed, which raises concerns about its reliability. While it may work well for those familiar with the intricacies of pinion settings, the tool may not be ideal for everyone, particularly those lacking depth of experience in precision work. In summary, the 10005 Pinion Setting Tool is a budget-friendly option that performs competently for seasoned users but may fall short for novices seeking exact measurements. **
