The Axis Scientific 8 Part Deluxe Human Brain with Arteries is a decent anatomical module for medical or physiotherapy classes. Although it lacks detail for some of the internal structures, such as the basal ganglia, it is detailed enough for high school or university level anatomy. It comes with a manual that highlights the limbic system, and the Hippocampus is labeled on the model to help locate the Amygdala. The brain anatomy and arteries are accurate with a decent amount of detail. The external morphology on the cerebrum and brain stem is great. However, the internal structure lacks detail, which is probably due to the limitations of models to represent such small and homogeneously colored divisions. It is a great study tool for first year medical students during neuroanatomy classes or for reviewing the anatomy of the brain and cranial nerves for office hours.
