The Quick Set Drill Press Hold Down is a useful tool for a drill press. It fits in the holes of the drill press table and comes from China. The arm has a reach of 3.30" and the OD of the post is 5/8 inches. There may be some play between the arm and the shaft. The clamp is all metal except for the clamping lever which is made of durable industrial plastic. It is easily adjustable and clamps very tightly. Customers have found it useful for close-in jobs requiring switching between different clamping heights and locations during a build. However, the lever that is used to apply pressure is made of plastic rather than metal which will wear out faster and break easier. Overall, the Quick Set Drill Press Hold Down is worth paying a little extra for as it eliminates the need for a third hand at a drill press.
