Answer: I bought this hat for my husband who is hairless. Went kayaking for 3+ hours and he did not get burned at all. He really liked the hat because it also protected his ears. -

Answer: I haven’t as I haven’t worn it as often as I should but would feel very comfortable washing it probably with my delicates as it is so lightweight. It is very comfortable and keeps my head cool. -

How are you supposed to wash it?
Answer: It is recommended to wash the internal moisture wicking sweatband lightly with soapy water. You can clean the hat with water and soft toothbrush. Please don't use washing machine. If not, it will damage the sun protection function and hat appearance. Thanks. -
