- The AcuRite Iris (5-in-1) Wireless Weather Station measures indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity, rainfall and rainfall history, wind speed and direction, and barometric pressure — all on two easy-to-read, illuminated color displays. The perfect gift idea for Father’s Day, Christmas, or Birthdays, users can set each display in different areas of their home to stay ultra-connected to their hyperlocal environment! Patented self-calibrating technology combines your specific elevation and barometric pressure measurements to generate a hyperlocal forecast 12 hours from current conditions. By using your backyard data, this home weather station gives you the most accurate forecast available for your exact location, a bit like a storm glass… but with more bells and whistles!This weather station is more advanced than a simple indoor/outdoor thermometer, as there is also a customizable weather ticker that streams real-time information, such as feels like temperature, high and low temperature records, moon phase, indoor humidity high and low records, and low battery alerts. You’ll have all the weather data you need to create your own in-home weather center and can boast to your neighbors that you have the best weather station! Or set this up in the park as the perfect RV weather station and monitor conditions for you and your campmates! This wireless outdoor weather station combination allows you to say goodbye to your old-school anemometers and wind vanes! Wind speed information is relayed to the indoor weather gauge displays and includes current, peak, and average speed (mph, kph, or knots), and there is a 16-point wind direction gauge (wind rose) to show the current and previous two wind directions. The outdoor wireless device acts as a wireless rain gauge that measures rain and rainfall history (inches or millimeters), which can be viewed on the indoor weather station displays.
