Answer: This switch is designed for the dash-mounted forward and reverse switch used with PDS type controller. It may not be compatible with the under-leg switch on a 97 EZGO TXT. -

Answer: The switch does not limit voltage or current for the application, so it should work on a 12V system. -

Answer: No, this is a 3 pin switch. -

Answer: The one I received did not have instructions. I used the same wire layout as the old switch I was replacing. -

Does it matter what voltage my cart is? I have a 48V.
Answer: This part is specifically for the 48VDC model. The switch is always hermetically sealed and requires replacement when the contacts brown out. You can drill out the rivets and replace them with U nuts and stainless cap screws for a finished look.

The EZGO 74323G01 PDS Forward and Reverse Switch is an OEM switch that is compatible with PDS models. It is not an aftermarket switch. The switch is rated for 36 volts, making it suitable for carts with 6 ea 6 volt batteries. It is not specified if it will work with a 97 EZGO TXT with the normal forward reverse switch under your legs. It is a 3-pin switch and does not come with installation instructions. Overall, customers found it easy to install and a perfect replacement for their old, faded switches. It was also described as better than the original switch.
