Answer: I have the Tenergy T9688 Smart Universal Charger and have been very happy with it. I use it for all battery sizes. It only holds 4 batteries but they charge up very quickly. -

Answer: Yes. And the batteries go bad quickly. I purchased two 8 packs a year ago and now half are 'bad' and cannot be recharged. I recommend avoiding this brand.
