To set up the light, a standard power supply such as the Armacost Lighting 850600 is required, as well as a multi-color + white controller such as the Armacost Lighting 714421. The wattage requirement varies depending on the length of the tape light deployed, but at full brightness with both the white and RGB lit, 16 feet of RibbonFlex PRO RGB+W LED tape light uses 75W. The cut points on the tape light are approximately 4 inches apart. This product's main drawback is that it is not waterproof, making it unsuitable for outdoor or damp environments. Additionally, it only comes with a soft 3000K white color temperature that is not tunable.
