It has the capability to record in two tracks when used both in Garageband and with two microphones. It accepts mic or instrument level inputs, and lacks ground lift switch. It comes with a 9V battery which is not easy to find. According to customers, the device performs satisfactorily, but complaints mainly concern weak preamps, difficulty in mounting, lack of battery indicator, and short battery life. Some reviewers also pointed out a lack of clarity about whether it can record stereo sound on smartphones.
