The planter has 2 small knockouts in the bowl that match up to holes in the base for drainage. However, one customer had to drill a couple more drain holes for better drainage. The product has received mixed reviews from customers. Some customers were pleased with the purchase and found them well-made, great for the price, and sturdy. They also looked good with planted flowers in them. However, other customers had issues with stability and tipping over, and had to glue the top to the bottom to stabilize them. Some also found the connection between pot and base slightly wobbly.
