NZXT AC-HPL03-10 Editorial Review
The NZXT HUE RGB LED control AA-HUE30-01 comes with a 2-meter flexible multi-color LED strand and a 5.25-inch bay controller. Users can set the color for the breathing mode, and control the speed of the effect. However, if users prefer not to use the bay controller, it must still be installed since it acts as the intermediary between the LEDs and the CAM software. It is not possible to use other LED strips with the HUE+ as it uses a 12v, in, out, and 5v were, traditional strips are 12v,r,g,b. The device adds an aesthetically pleasing touch to the computer but there are reports of the adhesive failing after a while. While the hardware is great, users have experienced issues with the software. The device received mixed reviews since some users experienced significant burning to the circuit board and the supplied LED strips failing.
