It is compatible with the 16" Macbook Pro laptop and provides over-charging and over-heating protection. It allows charging of other devices even while it's being charged through the DC input. However, customers have reported various issues, such as the powers saving mode irritating users when only one small device is connected; lack of ability to turn off automatic power saving mode and therefore issues with charging; the 12V output not working as promised, resulting in fried motherboards and CPUs; and various devices, particularly the Type-C outlet slot, not working anymore despite minimal usage.
