Answer: Yes, the dance floor is easy to clean with a damp cloth. -

Will this flooring be okay for 2 tap dancers to practice routines total weight 360 pounds?
Answer: Your weight shouldn’t affect anything. The mat is large enough for two people. -

Will this withstand heels for ballroom or Latin dance? Or, will it scratch or puncture the surface and make unsmooth?
Answer: I tap dance on mine, and so far so good. Dance heels, even ballroom, should puncture the floor. -
Question:
Does this need to be taped down? I’m looking for something my girls can use on my hardwood floors and then put away when they are done.
Answer: It doesn’t have to be taped, but it needs to be weighed down when you first get it to flatten it. It’s also not very big. -

Can you hear tap sounds on this mat?
Answer: Yes, if placed on a hard surface. -

Does this come with a carry bag or cover?
Answer: No, they come in a sturdy tube and we just pop them back in for storage. -

Will this mat work on carpet for tap or salsa dancing?
Answer: For tap dancing, it has to be on a solid tile or wooden floor to get the tap sound. I bought it for tap dancing. I don’t know about salsa dancing. -
Question:
Can I use it outside over grass?
Answer: Yes, but you will not get a tap sound if not on a hard surface. -
Question:
Does it protect laminate floor? And dampen tap sound?
Answer: These protect my hardwood floors. So I would imagine your laminate floors would be okay? I don’t think the tap sounds are muffled. To me, it sounds as though they’re tapping in a studio. I got them for this very reason. My girls wanted to hear their tap sounds and I wanted our floors protected. So for us, these are a win-win!
