It can also be over-coated with other urethane coatings, although you'll lose some of the protective value, scratch-resistance, and flexibility of Durabak when you do. Although durability and protective value are this product's strength, the can's shipping design and products handling have room for improvement. Many customers complained that it was tough to open the container, with the lid sticking to the hardened material. Others complained that the wording on the container was illegible, making it tough to follow the application instructions.
