However, drilling is required if pre-drilled holes do not match the bolt pattern of the bracket. The kit comes with 1/2" diameter grade 8 bolts and all necessary hardware for installation. These mounts also come with backing plates and D-shackles, making them an all-in-one package. The hole size for the shackle pin is one inch, designed for a 7/8 inch pin on a 3/4 inch D-shackle, which is a standard 4x4 D-shackle size. Overall, the BILLET4X4 XD 3 TON Bumper Shackle MOUNTS are a high-quality product that offers everything needed to mount D-shackles to a bumper.
