Answer: The diamond blade provides chip-free cutting in all types of tile. -

what is the deepest cut this saw will make? The cheap Ryobi I bought at the Depot wasnt quite deep enough with a 4" blade.
Answer: The depth on the blade is 1-5/16 inch for a straight up cut. For an angled cut, it will be less. It was used to cut through floor tile with a concrete/metal mesh base layer. -
Question:
is 4 1/2 or 4 3/8?
Answer: This saw uses 4.25" blades, and there are brands other than Dewalt that will fit. A larger blade will not work. -
Question:
can this cut through 1/2" concrete slab?
Answer: Yes, it can cut through a 1/2 inch concrete slab. It is also used for cutting granite and works fabulously for its size. -
Question:
will a cupped blade fit in it for cutting out oval sinks holes for granite counter tops?
Answer: No, in my opinion, a cupped blade will not fit. -
Question:
Does this cut vinyl tile as well?
Answer: This is too much for vinyl. Vinyl tiles can be cut with tin snips. Smaller, cheaper tools might be a better bet. -

Does the saw have spring load plunge for doing cuts in the center of a tile?
Answer: No, there is no spring load plunge. -
Question:
Could I use this tool to even up grout line width on laid tile?
Answer: Yes, the DWC860W should work fine for this type of application. -

Who can tell me if it includes the saw blade for ceramics?
Answer: It comes with a blade that has been used for Stucco, natural stone tile, and ceramic tile. -
Question:
Can this saw be used to cut a quartz countertop?
Answer: If they use the same blade as for granite, yes. It is recommended to confirm with a tile store.
