This rectifier is advertised as plug-and-play, meaning that it can be easily installed without cutting wires or adding connectors. However, in some cases, customers have reported that it does not work as intended. One customer reported that although the rectifier charged the boat perfectly, the wire for the tachometer did not work. Upon further inspection, the same customer tried a second new rectifier and found that it did not generate a signal either.
