Answer: The 4 dots are just prior to the temperature settings starting. -

How come my temperature dial only lights up on the first temperature grouping and not the other 2? Is it broken?
Answer: There is a black arrow on the dial that might be hard to see. Some customers have marked the arrow with nail polish to make it more noticeable. -
