The eXtremeRate 7 Colors 9 Modes NS Joycon DFS LED Kit is a mod kit for Nintendo Switch and Switch OLED Model Joy-Con controllers. It features multi-color illuminated black classical symbols ABXY trigger face buttons. The color can be changed by pressing SL+SR, but brightness cannot be adjusted. The kit includes clear rubber button pads. Installation can be tricky and requires disassembling the Joy-Con controllers. The LEDs feed from the controllers' battery, but do not significantly drain the battery life. The last light setting is stored and the LEDs do not shut off when the Joy-Cons sleep. The customer experience is mixed, with some reviewers reporting missing or defective parts, while others praise the quality of the kit and the responsive customer support.
