Answer: I'm in a Motorhome using an inverter, now mine is a pure sine wave model so it's clean AC and have had no issues. If your Inver doesn't produce a clean AC you might damage the control. -

Answer: Yes. It hums. Very low, but it is audible. -

Can you put the plug at the head of the bed instead of the foot?
Answer: That's funny you asked that. We accidentally put it at the head of the bed, and love it that way.. It heats up the pillows! -

Answer: I have a ICD Pacemaker and it doesn’t affect it in anyway. -

Answer: Yes, that is all I have are very thick mattresses. -

How thick is the mattress pad? Our current bed is too firm and trying to soften it up as well as heat it.
Answer: Its not super thick, but it is soft. And the nice lovely warm inviting heat is AMAZING. We have it on over an Englander Savannah mattress, and I think it feels pretty good. -

Can this be used with an adjustable bed?
Answer: No it cannot be used with an adjustable bed. -

What does controller F1 mean?
Answer: Sorry I didn't read all the instructions but the control panel is two-sided each side of the bed can be on or off at will both sides of the bed are separate and The control panel range is from from 1 to 10
