FMI Chimney Caps TWST5316 Editorial Review
The FMI 48-8DM 8 Chimney Pipe is a double-wall pipe that is specifically designed for use in wood burning fireplaces. The pipe Consists of an inner stainless steel pipe that is eight inches in diameter and an outer pipe that is approximately 12 inches in diameter, leaving a four-inch air gap between the two pipes. Customers looking to use this pipe for a natural gas pizza oven should note that it is not suitable for that purpose and is only approved for use in wood burning fireplaces. Similarly, it is not rated for use on a wood stove. For those applications, a different type of chimney pipe should be used. The pipe can be connected together, allowing customers to extend the chimney as needed. Each section of pipe is 48 inches long and has an outside dimension of 12 inches. Overall, customers who have used the FMI 48-8DM 8 Chimney Pipe have found it to be a suitable option for their wood burning fireplaces. However, it is important to Consider the specific requirements of your appliance before purchasing this chimney pipe.
