Motorcraft Switches Editorial Review
The Motorcraft SW7917 Switch Assembly is a highly recommended product for those experiencing faulty windshield wipers on their Ford F-150 truck. This switch assembly is a perfect fit for the vehicle and is easy to install. The installation process is straightforward and can be done by individuals who are handy and have basic knowledge of replacing automotive parts. Customers have reported that the installation took them less than ten minutes, and some even mentioned that it only took them five minutes once they had the correct bits for the installation. The switch assembly looks exactly like the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) part, giving it a seamless appearance once installed. In terms of functionality, the switch assembly retains features such as the auto wipe function, where the wipers automatically perform a follow-up wipe after using the windshield washer. Customers have confirmed that this switch assembly is compatible with that feature and supports it. The overall customer experience with the Motorcraft SW7917 Switch Assembly has been positive. The majority of customers have praised its perfect fit, easy installation process, and reasonable price compared to purchasing the part from a Ford dealership. The part seems to work perfectly for most customers, but the longevity of its performance is yet to be determined.
