Leaving it in a hot car or in the sun will cause it to melt to oil, filling only one-third of the jar. Many customers prefer to keep it by their bed or in a cool, dry place. It comes in a 6 oz jar, not the advertised 8 oz. Some have found that the jar came half full and dried out, which raised questions of quality control.
