AURAY Stands BPH Editorial Review
The Auray Boom Pole Holder is a useful item if you have a c-stand and arm, but it doesn't effectively work with a mic stand as there is no adapter. However, it is a must-have for video gear and is robustly made. It can hold heavy poles with blimps and recorders without any issues. The boom cradle is sized perfectly to fit into a grip head, making it a simple solution for using a c-stand with a boom pole and shotgun mic. Users have found it to work fantastically for interviews, eliminating the need for a PA or Boom Op to hold it. The main drawback is the high price compared to similar items in other industries, such as fishing rod holders, which can do the same job for a fraction of the price.
