The HUYUN aftermarket 2.5" SAS SATA SFF drive caddy is an adapter that allows you to install a 2.5" hard drive or SSD into an HPE ProLiant Gen8, Gen9, or Gen10 server. The caddy works in a large form factor 3.5" bay with the addition of a 2.5" adapter. It has been verified to work in various HPE servers including ML350p Gen8, DL380p Gen8, DL380 Gen9, and DL380 Gen10. Customers report that it works well with some minor adjustments, but the fit is not the same as the OEM product. The caddy is a cost-effective way to repurpose production servers into NAS or backup appliances. However, the LEDs are not Consistent and can be a bit of a nuisance.
