Answer: Yes, you can use the S2 Swivel with 5/16 chain, and it will also work on 3/8" chain and function the same. -

What is the outside diameter dimension for the S-2 swivel?
Answer: The S2 swivel has an OD of 2.4". -

What is the max shackle size for the S1 swivel when using 5/16 high test chain?
Answer: The S1 Swivel comes with a 7/16" Shackle designed to fit 5/16 HT chain. -
Question:
Will the S2 swivel fit 1/4 chain size?
Answer: No, the S2 swivel will only fit 5/16" and 3/8" chain. For 1/4" chain, we recommend the S1 swivel. -
Question:
Will the S2 swivel work with 5/16 BBB chain?
Answer: Ideally for 5/16" chain, we recommend the S1 swivel. S2 should be used with 5/16" chain that is Grade 70. -

What is the WLL of S2 and S3? Also what does UBS stand for?
Answer: UBS stands for Ultimate Breaking Strength. The WLL for S2 is 4300 lbs, and WLL for S3 is 7000 lbs. S2 swivel is stronger than 3/8 G4 chain and S3 swivel is stronger than 1/2" G4 chain. -
