These boots are highly comfortable and versatile, great for both hiking and horse riding. They have a good leather and great rubber sole. They fit true to size and have a roomy toe-box. They are not steel toe boots, but still sturdy and safe. They are comfortable enough to wear all day long, and their padding will conform to your foot as you break them in. They are more like a roper in terms of weight and height, not too heavy but more than a typical sneaker. The shoes are long-lasting, sturdy, supportive and provide a great deal of confidence when striding out. There are some issues with sizing for those with wider feet, and some customers have reported issues with shoelace length.
