Answer: The Delkin DD-AC-QKRLS mount is not a good choice for a steadicam. Better choice is the Giotto MH 621. -

Answer: To mount any quick-release base on the steadicam, use the tripod thread plus the second thread (for the reserve plug). You can use screws that fit into the various size threads and can be screwed on with no more complicated tool than a coin. -
