Tuffy Center Consoles Editorial Review
The Tuffy 282-01 Tailgate Enclosure is a great solution for those looking for a more secure storage space in their Jeep Wrangler. It is made of metal, providing enough strength to keep unwanted individuals out. The installation process is relatively easy and straightforward, taking around 1.5-2.5 hours depending on your tool selection. The enclosure comes with a rubber seal that runs along the edges, creating a seal against the Jeep to provide some protection against light rain. It fits perfectly on a 2016 two-door Wrangler, but there are specific models available for other Jeep models. Customer reception of this product has been positive, with users praising its sturdy and secure design. The ability to leave items in the Jeep without fear of theft is highly appreciated. Some customers found the installation a bit challenging but manageable, and one user mentioned the need to find longer bolts for a more secure installation. In conclusion, the Tuffy 282-01 Tailgate Enclosure is a solid and well-built product that provides a secure storage solution for Jeep Wrangler owners. Its installation may require some effort, but the end result is a sturdy and reliable enclosure that offers peace of mind when leaving valuable items in the Jeep.
