    Answer: Yes, the biscuit recipe is on the bag.
  • Question: Is this flour white?

    Answer: Very white. Whiter than your average processed flour. It is the ultimate bakers flour.
  • Question: Can you use for making bread?

    Answer: It's ideal for making light-textured, flaky biscuits and pastries. You can also use self-rising flour for pancakes, muffins, waffles, coffee cakes, and quick loaves. Personally, I've used it for all the breads I've ever made but I don't have a bread machine so I'm not sure how it does in there. I hope that helps!
  • Question: Can I use this to bake pizza?

    Answer: You sure can! If your recipe calls for all-purpose you can just leave out the salt and baking powder/soda since they are already mixed in. It makes a soft and flaky texture, less chewy and almost a biscuit-like to homemade pizza dough.
  • Question: Is this better than bread flour for Dutch babies?

    Answer: Dutch Babies recipes call for all purpose flour
  • Question: What makes it Self-rising?

    Answer: It has baking powder and/or soda in it, so you don’t need to add any when baking.
  • Question: Does this flour make good tortillas?

    Answer: I have never tried that but I doubt it because most tortilla recipe's don't call for baking powder and Lily White flour has baking powder in it to make a good rise. You really don't want your tortillas to rise.
  • Question: What is the protein %? Does anybody know?

    Answer: About two grams per one-fourth cup serving. White Lily is made from soft wheat and has less protein than hard-wheat flours.
