Does it allow me to still use my phone?
Answer: These are good gloves, however, we wouldn't be able to use the phone when you've got them on. A big disappointment. -

Real leather?
Answer: YES, most parts of it are real leather. I use them twice a week for about one hour. 6 months of use and still in good condition. Thou some parts in the finger area are losing a thin layer of ink. The Velcro is not the best, you must tight and untight carefully. -

Answer: If the wearer so chooses to punch a side mirror i would think these gloves would keep you fairly protected. My wrist strap broke the day i got them.. you get what ya pay for -

Answer: The leather part of the gloves is temporarily waterproof, but water will still seep in over time. and leather is also perforated in specific places for optimal air flow, so the perforated places is easy to get wet. -
