Answer: The 2013 Mac Pro requires DDR3-1866 ECC memory. Our HyperX Fury memory is non-ECC and would not work properly in that system. -

Answer: Yes, the Hyper X HX318C10FB/8 is supported on the Asus M5A97 R2.0 motherboard. Asus supports a maximum memory capacity of 32GB at 1866MHz. -
Question:
Hi can i use this ram for dell optiplex 980 desktop (sff) ?
Answer: The HyperX Fury memory is not compatible with the Dell Optiplex 980 desktop. That system requires low density 4GB memory modules and we no longer manufacture low density 4GB memory modules. -

What is the difference between these than to the ordinary ram sticks you find in brand new computers?
Answer: The Hyper X memory modules are designed to run above standard memory specifications and can be manually tuned to faster memory speeds and lower latencies.
