Denso Compressors Editorial Review
The AC Compressor (4717009) is a direct replacement for the factory unit in the Dodge Ram 2500 5.9 L Cummins pickup. However, it is important to note that the o-rings on the manifold cap that comes with the new compressor may not work with the existing line manifold, so a gasket kit with new sealing washers may need to be purchased separately. On the downside, there have been several negative reviews regarding the durability and performance of this compressor, with customers experiencing leaks and premature failure. Additionally, there have been complaints about the company's warranty policy.
